This site sets no tracking cookies. It collects what you type into a form, plus anonymous analytics. Here is all of it.

What you send me
Three forms send what you type to me by email, through Web3Forms:
- Contact form: your name, email address, what you need and your message.
- AI-search access check: the page URL, your email address, any competitor domains and the note you add.
- Newsletter: your email address.
I use this only to reply to you, run the check you asked for, or send the newsletter. I do not sell it or share it with anyone else. A hidden spam-trap field is checked and discarded.
The "Ask about my work" box
A question typed into the box on the homepage is sent to a small service I run on Cloudflare Workers, which matches it against answers already published on this site. The service does not store your question. Like any web request, it passes through Cloudflare's network, which keeps standard request logs under its privacy policy.
Analytics and session recordings
- Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views and measures page speed. It sets no cookies and does not identify you.
- Microsoft Clarity records anonymised sessions (clicks, scrolling and page layout) and builds heatmaps, so I can see where pages confuse people. Clarity's cookies are switched off on this site, and by default Clarity masks what you type into form fields. Microsoft processes this data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Cookies and local storage
No tracking or advertising cookies are set, so there is no cookie banner. The site stores one small note in your browser's local storage (kz-nl) to remember that you subscribed to or closed the newsletter pop-up, so it does not show again. It never leaves your device. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Hostinger. Like any web server, it logs technical details of each request, such as IP address, browser and the page requested, for security and to keep the site running. Fonts and images load from this site only.
How long I keep it
Form emails stay in my inbox for as long as they are useful for our conversation or the work, and newsletter addresses stay until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept by Cloudflare and Microsoft for the periods their own policies set.
Your choices
Email [email protected] to see, correct or delete anything you have sent me, or to unsubscribe. I will act on it within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
When the site starts or stops using a service that handles your data, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
